I went to hear Rev. Osteen August 6th; it was truly uplifting. The stadium was packed to the rafters with everyone at peace with each other. My seat was almost on the field so I had a wonderful view of everything but it was the words spoken that gave strong inspiration. I enjoy hearing the Word of God spoken with joy. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to go as that day I had a migraine but it cleared about an hour before I was to leave so off I went. I don't particular like large crowds; I don't know why, I just get stressed but for some reason it was almost like I wasn't in a crowd, it was just peaceful even when we were leaving.
The last half hour was the same as on television but the first two hours were WOW. He spoke, there was music, his wife and mother along with others spoke. One point Rev Osteen brought out was (my words) praising self. Now it didn't come off as egotistical but recognizing the God within and appreciating that God. I wonder what others got out of the sermon.
